"Mission: Impossible" and Values

The following hypothesis is considered:

 

Information on the content of a problem situation is invaluable for its understanding and analysis, but is of no value for resolving the problem.

 

The search for solution should be aimed at changing the structure rather than the content of situation. The result will be obtained with minimal cognitive effort of experts, and it will be easier to convince the customer to accept and implement the solution.

 

This is how the principle of “Working with Seams,” one of the basic principles of the Method of Minimum Cognitive Effort works.
